Polemount Fault Interrupter

Polemount fault interrupters are installed on the customer service lines, branch line, or the connection point of with distributed energy resources that is supplied with power from underground or overhead distribution lines, and are used to prevent faults occurring at the end of the line from spreading to the entire system.
Polemount fault interrupters can intrrupt faults up to 12.5kA within 3 cycles without any reclosing using the built-in vacuum interrupters. They are classified as SF6 gas insulated or solid dielectric fault interrupters depending on the insulating medium.
The controls for polemount fault interrupters are divided into the type that incorporates communication functions for integration into automation systems and the type for performing only site-centered protection. BR10-EFI-DIR controls include a variety of TCC curves and directional protective elements like a recloser control.
BR10-EFI controls can be operated in LBS mode, sectionalizer mode, or single shot mode, depending on the settings. Therefore, users can operate these devices to suit their system in various line environments
