The SC-100NC control is installed in combination with the sectionalizer on MV distribution lines and is a compact type control for on-site operation that does not require a communication.
The SC-100NC control requires minimal maintenance by using supercapacitors as backup power to minimize the impact on device’s lifespan depending on the operating environment.
It is connected to the sectionalizer via a single control cable, measures voltage and current on the line through voltage and current sensors built into the switch, and performs fault detection and auto-sectionalizing functions.
It has a simple configuration and high operational reliability, and no additional operation costs are incurred because there is no communication requirement.
Used as a sectionalizer control to perform the set auto-sectionalizing function in conjunction with protective devices on the source side without communication requirements.
Minimize outage sections and duration by preventing wide-area outages that may be caused by faults near the end of lines or on the customers.
